3 Humble Tips For Stress-Free Project Life Creativity + Our Week Twenty-Four.

Happy Friday!

You all know how much I love instagram. And over there on my instagram feed (@jodie.york) I am lucky to be in contact with a bunch of fun and active creatives who take the time to make comments – thank you – and who aren’t afraid to ask questions and get involved – big thank you. One of my favourite thrills comes with hearing that I may have inspired someone to perhaps take a different creative direction in the way they Project Life. But in the little comments section on IG there just isn’t enough room to share everything so I thought I’d tack on 3 Humble Tips For Stress-Free Project Life Creativity to my week twenty-four post. In 2015 I’ve embraced the ‘less is more’ in all aspects of my life, including when creating our Project Life album. The ‘less is Read More

Project Life, 2015 | Week Twenty-Two.

Hello Thursday!

And welcome to week twenty-two of our Project Life album. Just the usual around here – school athletics carnival, swimming for all, Rhee Taekwondo for William, school comp aerobics for the girls. Stella started ballet again which I’m thrilled about even though it makes my head spin to think that it’s taken up our only free afternoon. Henry continues to loves his soccer. I put my hand up to be his teams coach this term and I can honestly say I am loving it. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my soccer coaching mentors and advisors Google and YouTube. My little team of under 6’s have enthusiastically called themselves The Gorillas. Love it.  Read More

Project Life, 2015 | Week Twenty-One.

Hello Wednesday!

And welcome to week twenty-one of our Project Life album. I had one of those weeks where I felt like if I was able to just keep it together and get through each day and do it without giving myself away to the world that I was super stressed. I told myself that if I managed to do that then I would be doing well. Really well. It wasn’t all bad. Just simply “one of those weeks”. We all have them. I called myself a duck that week. I wrote about it here on Read More

Project Life, 2015 | Week Twenty.

Hey Monday!

And welcome to week twenty of our Project Life album also referred to by the kids as “our book”. I love that.

Week twenty was a fabulous one around here. Our THRIVE t-shirts continued to reach all corners of the earth including America where the inspiring Becky Higgins received hers. Becky posted that pic you see on Instagram and shared the love, message and information about of our fund raiser for our beautiful friend Jen Lake. Not only was it a thrill that she got behind our efforts but it was also an amazing feeling to have this woman wearing my script. She has been a Read More

Project Life, 2015 | Week Sixteen.

Hello Thursday!

What a week this one was. We experienced scary weather around here. Heavy rains, wild winds and flooding. The kids school was closed for days. Then at the end of the week it was ANZAC Day. Hence why there is so much journaling on my pages. There was a lot to tell. Read More

Project Life, 2015 | Week Fifteen.

Hello Monday! (please be nice to me…)

I’m in full swing of using the Project Life kits from Studio Calico now. After my big purge of product last year I’m definitely not missing that overwhelmed feeling that I had when I was buried under excess product. I am continuing to focus on the photos and the journaling and using minimal embellishing. This is working for me and as proof I’m so pleased to say that I am totally up to date with this project. I think it’s a Read More
