Project Life, 2015 | Week Twenty-Two.
Hello Thursday!
And welcome to week twenty-two of our Project Life album. Just the usual around here – school athletics carnival, swimming for all, Rhee Taekwondo for William, school comp aerobics for the girls. Stella started ballet again which I’m thrilled about even though it makes my head spin to think that it’s taken up our only free afternoon. Henry continues to loves his soccer. I put my hand up to be his teams coach this term and I can honestly say I am loving it. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my soccer coaching mentors and advisors Google and YouTube. My little team of under 6’s have enthusiastically called themselves The Gorillas. Love it.
On the pages the week came together quickly and easily because I kept it very simple using what was left out of the Galileo Project Life kit from Studio Calico and adding some stamped vellum to the photos with the latest stamp sets from Kellie Stamps.
I have a giveaway that will be drawn tomorrow for a full Studio Calico Galileo Project Life kit. Jump on over to my post here and leave a comment for your chance to win.
I put together a quick ‘how-to’ stamp on vellum here. Stamping onto vellum gives you the option of using stamps on your pages without taking up any precious journaling space. And it also comes in handy when you want to cover up ‘dead space’ in your photos.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with the wood veneer ampersand until I spied some left over black acrylic paint left over from a script project. I painted it (got very messy) and slipped it straight into the pocket.
Be sure to visit the Kellie Stamps store and check out all her latest releases. Kellie and I are also collaborating again and creating the personalised wood mounted stamps using the word of your choice.
And don’t forget to enter my giveaway to win the Galileo Project Life kit from Studio Calico.
XO
