Project Life, 2015 | Week Twenty-One.
Hello Wednesday!
And welcome to week twenty-one of our Project Life album. I had one of those weeks where I felt like if I was able to just keep it together and get through each day and do it without giving myself away to the world that I was super stressed. I told myself that if I managed to do that then I would be doing well. Really well. It wasn’t all bad. Just simply “one of those weeks”. We all have them. I called myself a duck that week. I wrote about it here on my blog, I. Am. A. Duck. Haha. If you read it and you’ll understand the whole duck name thing.
Creatively the week in our album came together easily. I used more product our of the Studio Calico Project Life kit June release called Galileo. I modified bits and pieces of it here and there so that it fit in with our story.
I’ve continued to write and write and write. The journaling is coming easily at the moment being relatively up to date with my pages (for now at least 😉 )
Sticking to using minimal product even though I am still getting my Studio Calico subscription. It’s allowing me to make the kits last almost a month which is great when you are trying to cut down on your spending (*insert nervous, guilty little laugh*).
I adore how you can see the back of that acrylic ‘currently’ word which came in the Galileo kit. Also love how you can see through the clear pocket onto a card included in the previous weeks spread. Adds a new, fun dimension to the pages.
One of the modifications was cutting the top off the green currently card that came in the kit. I just felt that there was too much green for my love of white space but I loved the gold foil so I simply chopped off the title and adhered with with a single staple to a white Project Life card.
The ‘we are’, ‘crazy’ and ‘week’ stamps comes from a stamp set called TODAY from Kellie Stamps. The stamp set features my brush script.
Hope you are all having a fabulous week! XO
