Life @ 209.
Hello Monday (thank you for being nice to me today…),
Last weekend through to this weekend and all that goes on in between.
Those Saturdays when you plan nothing and fun, spontaneous events take place. And you just ride that wave, go with the flow. A long walk. A coffee. Some dinner. Constantly reminding myself that it’s ok to take some time out when I can.
I love Sundays. Light and love for this little home of ours.
What’s a lamb roast without homegrown rosemary? Simple things like this make me happy.
I prepared some little tomato and flat leaf parsley plants harvested from our veggie patch for Henry’s news. His teacher has since popped them into her brand new veggie patch inspired by us. Yay!
My dream is to have a massive veggie patch with a huge variety of goodies to harvest.
Attempting to photograph my work for Studio Calico. Attempting is the key word here.
Taking another leap with my script work and using the words believe in yourself as my mantra. Excited and terrified. Mostly terrified.
Getting some help in our little front garden. I was tackling the war on clover while he watered. Again, simple things like this make me happy.
When script goes wrong.
The calm before the storm of our weekend just gone.
Soccer every Saturday morning. I’m coaching Henry’s under 6 team and hand on heart I’m loving this experience. We haven’t dropped a game (yes, I may be a little inwardly competitive…) Henry scored 3 goals this week! His first score ever. And yes, pink shoe laces are in – his choice.
Henry giving sewing a try. Mum gave the girls a little sewing machine each. He climbed up to the table and announced he’d like to give it a go. He did brilliantly!
Still on our Saturday at William’s Rhee Taekwondo family day. He is going for his brown belt this week. I’m beyond proud.
Half an hour after arriving home four girls turned up for a sleep over. This photo was taken at midnight. Yep. Midnight.
Sigh. Hello Sunday and hello local markets. Collected my hoard of super fresh veggies and fruit for the week. The markets are so inspiring. One day I’d love to be bringing in this variety of goodness from our own veggie patch. One day.
Eking out the last of our Sunday. Thankfully I have four babes who love to be outside. When was the last time you drew on the cement with chalk? So much fun. In the photo you can see Henry’s attempt at scripting his name with chalk. Not bad bubba!!!
I hope your weekend was fabulous and that your week is just as good.
