Weekly Brush Script #8 | You Can Keep Mr. Grey.
A couple of days ago I re-posted these words on my beloved Instagram feed (have I told you how much I adore Instagram? haha) from Words Etc. You can keep Mr Grey. I’m sticking with Mr Darcy. I haven’t read the books. I haven’t seen the movie. I don’t intend to. Call me old fashioned but I find a Mr Darcy a lot sexier and more appealing than a Mr Grey.
When I saw Jacqui’s Instagram post I just knew I had to script them and include them as one of my weekly brush script offerings. I contacted Jacqui who instantly gave me the go ahead and here they are. For you, from both of us. xo
Each week I’m going to share with you a quote I have found, and that speaks to me, in my brush script style. The quote will either relate to my word for 2015, strength, or be a quote that simply relates to my here and now.
If the words I have chosen for the week speak to you, if you can relate to them, if you think they will help you on your own journey TAKE THEM! Print them out. Stick them on your wall. Give them away to someone you know who will appreciate them. Share and inspire. Leave a comment below. I would love to know that you’ve been here.
Be sure to take a photo of what you have done with the script and tag me if you are on Facebook or Instagram @polkadotcreative (I’m on IG a lot!) and use the hashtag #pdcscript. I want to know why the piece inspired you.

Words Etc. is an online stationery and design boutique specialising in motivational art prints. Jacqui’s signature style fuses fabulous typography, subtle pops of colour and light-hearted illustrations. Words Etc is based in a country town called Forbes in New South Wales, Australia. I’m very familiar with this area having being born in Narromine and later moving to Parkes which is a few kms from Forbes. Coming across Jacqui on instagram, a fellow country girl, just proves that we live in a small world. xo
