Project Life, 2015 | Week Five.
With the release of Jot Magazine on Monday I can now post week five of our Project Life album for 2015. If you haven’t already grab a cuppa and treat yourself to this HUGE 9th issue. It’s a beautiful and inspiring read.
As for Project Life 2015? I’m really enjoying the creative process year. I’m continuing to focus on the photographs and the story they tell as well as adding memorabilia, quotes and noting the tiny little things that happened in our week like what music we were listening to or purchasing a gift for our little cottage together with mentioning the bigger moments like Williams incredible show of courage at his swimming carnival and Stella’s birthday.
I’m also enjoying the ‘head space’ using minimal product is bringing to my creative process. Using a kit is working for me in this regard. And challenging myself to use every piece of the kit within the month before the next kit arrives is good too. I have a natural tendency to hoard scrumptious products. I know I’m not alone on this one. So part of my deal with myself was that if I subscripted to a kit I had to use everything, or at least come close to using everything, before the next kit arrived. This deal also helps with me getting my weeks done.
I used the Studio Calico kit called Far Far Away. I’m currently sinking my teeth into the new kit called Cirque for our weeks seven and eight. Love! Every single stamp that I used are from Kellie Stamps. In particular ‘Hashtag’ and ‘Epic’.
Are you doing anything different this year to ensure that you enjoy the creative process of this project? Share your secrets so we can learn and inspire together.
